Born and raised in the U.S., Maycie brings both international perspective and hands-on lab expertise to our team. With four years of experience in IVF labs, she plays a key role in supporting our reproductive processes—including handling and processing oocytes and embryos, and advanced techniques like ICSI.
Maycie has a strong foundation in animal science, holding a Bachelor’s degree in Advanced Animal Science with a concentration in reproduction and a specialty in equine sciences. While her passion began with horses, she’s now diving deep into the world of cattle reproduction and is excited to be growing her skills in this space.
What excites Maycie most about working at Evogene is “being inspired by the advanced reproductive techniques and having the daily opportunity for growth.”
Outside the lab, you’ll often find Maycie travelling to cutting horse shows with her partner, Paxton. We’re thrilled to have Maycie on board - bringing precision, curiosity, and a drive to learn.
