
Meet Morgan O’Dempsey, one of our skilled Graduate Scientists. With a unique set of practical and academic skills, Morgan expertise ensures we continue delivering precise reproductive solutions. Born and raised in Central Queensland, Morgan has deep roots in commercial cattle production, giving her a deep understanding of the logistical challenges in breeding management.
As a Graduate Scientist, Morgan plays a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our processes. She is integral to the handling, evaluation, and processing of oocytes and embryos, assisting with oocyte collection, embryo culture and freezing to help maximise reproductive success for our clients.
With six years in the reproduction field, Morgan holds a Bachelor of Equine Science from UQ and a Master of Clinical Embryology from Monash University. Morgan’s career spans equine breeding across veterinary practices and Thoroughbred studs in Scone, Southbrook, and Lexington, Kentucky, before returning to cattle reproduction. Over the past four years, she has combined hands-on lab work with her academic studies, building a diverse background in both bovine and equine reproduction. This breadth of experience allows Morgan to bring a practical and scientific perspective to every project, helping clients achieve outstanding reproductive outcomes.
Morgan is excited by the constant drive the Evogene team bring developing processes and achieve better results for producers. Through her role she uses the latest scientific advancements and enjoys going the extra mile to maximise results, sharing every success and challenge alongside our clients.
Outside the lab, Morgan enjoys making hay with her husband and kids, riding horses, and keeping up with the family’s busy weekends of sports, swimming, or campdrafting.
